What is Florence Finder?
Florence Finder is a community directory designed to help residents and visitors find restaurants, events, jobs, classifieds, deals, and social groups in the Florence, SC area.
What is the "Encounter Review System"?
Unlike traditional directories, Florence Finder reviews focus on real experiences. Users rate businesses on specific attributes (like speed, service, atmosphere, and value) depending on the type of business, ensuring reviews are balanced and helpful.
How do I join a Friend Finder group?
Simply navigate to the Friend Finder tab, choose a category of interest, click "Join Group" on the group card, and check your dashboard for updates. Make sure you set your preferences in your Account Settings so we can recommend matching friends.
Are classified listings free?
Yes, posting basic classified listings is completely free for all community members.
For Local Businesses
How do I claim my business listing?
If your business is already listed, click the "Claim Business" button in the action bar of your profile page (or select the claim option in the footer). Submit the form with your contact details and upload proof of ownership. Once approved, you can edit hours, reply to reviews, and edit your profile.
What benefits do I get from verifying my listing?
Verified businesses display a verification badge, can publish menus, add events, distribute discount deals, and access advanced analytics via the Business Dashboard.
Can I edit the date or star rating of reviews?
No. Business owners cannot edit or delete reviews. All review moderation is restricted to Super Admins. If you believe a review violates terms of service, you can click "Report" to request an administrative review.
